[Image ID: a photo of a thresher shark. It is a long, slim shark. The upper fin of it's tail is very long, around 3 meters. End ID.]

Thresher sharks, a classicfication that has three species, are named for their exceptionally long tail, which is use to whip their prey, stunning them instantly.

Bonnethead sharks usually live in groups with 5-15 others!

Posts that do not have image descriptions are tagged as "undescribed". This is to help screenreader users and the visually impaired filter out inaccessible content. I write IDs sometimes, and if I put one on your post please add it to the orignal post! no credit needed.
---
I tag reblogs by fandom and ships. For example, if there's a post involving the ship between Ryan and Min-Gi from Infinity Train, I'd tag it as "infinity train" and "rymin"
---
I'm fairly inconsistent with trigger warning tags, sorry! I do try to tag bigs ones like gore, bugs, death, etc. If you need something I rb tagged, please don't hestitate to ask. I will also tag Undertale posts that involve the characters dying as "murder run" and Deltarune's bad route is tagged as "snowgrave route".
